A surreal architectural dreamscape where an elongated figure watches a tiny blue house resting inside a vast reflective pool. (Not) A Beautiful Garden explores isolation, refuge, scale, memory, and the uneasy relationship between familiar objects and impossible spaces.
Description
(Not) A Beautiful Garden is a surreal digital artwork about scale, isolation, and the strange places we create in order to feel safe.
Inside an immense architectural space, a solitary elongated figure stands at the edge of dark reflective water. Across the pool sits a tiny blue house, illuminated from within and surrounded by cold light, mist, towering walls, and an impossible sense of distance.
The scene resembles a garden only in the loosest sense. There is water, space, light, and somewhere to rest, yet everything feels displaced. The familiar has been placed inside something far too large to understand.
Warm golden light enters from one side while deep blue dominates the opposite half of the composition, creating a tension between comfort and unease, intimacy and overwhelming scale.
The small house becomes almost symbolic: home, memory, refuge, or perhaps something waiting to be reached.
(Not) A Beautiful Garden continues the visual language of Innerprojection, where tiny figures move through monumental spaces and ordinary objects become strange through scale, silence, and isolation.
